The House of Representatives Commission V intends to review the Holtekamp Bridge Readiness to support the PON, "Osman said. The bay area will be used as a rowing arena and across from it will be built by other venues, "Osman added. We make sure all funding is available from both Apbd and Apbn. Entrance / access from Hamadi and from Holtekamp is around 9.9 KM, namely 2.4 KM from Hamdi and 7.5 KM from Holtekamp, which was the responsibility of the city but we took over because of limited funding and the completion target for December 2018, "explained Osman The 66 M approach bridge which is the responsibility of the Directorate General of Highways is already in the auction process.
We are optimistic that the construction of the holtekamp bridge will be completed in December 2018. All that's left is the land problem. Osman also revealed to Members of Parliament, Regional Secretaries to encourage land acquisition related. Because from the beginning there was an MOU with the provincial and city governments that land is their responsibility while our major (main span) physical works, "Osman explained. Related to the beautification, we will submit it to the copyright of the work.

Day 2 Commission V of the Indonesian House of Representatives paid a visit to Yahukimo as part of the completion of the Trans Papua Road. In Yahukimo Osman also explained to the Chairperson and Members of Commission V regarding the progress of the trans papua road progress. In his explanation Osman said that the Trans Papua road from Dekai to the Okibil is all open, but there are several bridges that have not been completed so that they cannot be functional. The road from Dekai to Kenyam will later reach Wamena and Habema. This is an access road through isolation from the south, "explained Osman. Trace the road later Dekai - Kenyam - Wamena, Kenyam go down to Mumugu and head to Agats / Asmat. From Agats to Momugu the transportation capital is water, while Mumugu to Wamena is 284 KM in length. While from Kenyam to Dekai 217 KM, then from Dekai to Oksibil 230 KM, "he explained.
This visit was to ensure that the implementation of trans papua work from Wamena to Dekai and Oksibil was ongoing. So there are 5 Mutliyears packages from Wamena to Dekai. There are 2 bridge packages from Wamena to Kenyam then 2 road packages from Kenyam - Dekai then from Dekai - Kenyam and there are 1 Kalikabur Bridge Package from Dekai - Oksibil. And there is another implementation of 33 KM asphalting from Dekai to Oksibil. So the asphalt road has been opened to ease the cost of routine maintenance. Because the asphalt road must be lower in maintenance costs compared to dirt roads. Because the dirt road is easier to be crushed by rain, "he said.
So one of the objectives of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission V is to conduct a working visit to Papua to review the Holtekamp Bridge and the Trans Papua Road which is a priority program of the government. (rko)
