Ministry of PUPR Targets Handling of Bogor Peak Lane in 2020

Jakarta - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said that the handling of the Bogor Puncak road section was carried out in stages since last year and is targeted to be completed in 2020. Handling carried out by the Ministry of PUPR through the National Center for Implementation of National Roads (BBPJN) VI, Directorate General of Development Among the surnames are road widening, drainage channel construction, construction of duplicate bridges, and strengthening of cliffs at landslide prone points.
"The strategy of handling the Peak lane, we first improve the existing peak lane by widening the road and bridge and structuring to accommodate traders. We have prepared a rest area of 5 hectares in Gunung Mas that can be used by traders. When it's finished, we think about the Peak II from Sentul to Taman Bunga which is about 50 Km away, "said Minister Basuki some time ago.
The widening package of the Ciawi-Puncak Road along 5 km and the construction of the Gunung Mas rest area has begun to be carried out since the end of 2018. The construction cost uses a multi-year contract scheme for the 2018-2019 state budget of Rp 73.1 billion with a target to be completed by the end of 2019.
The widening of the Ciawi-Puncak road is divided into 4 segments, namely segment 1 (Selarong) has been completed, segment 2 (Cipayung) still has 510 meters of road widening, segment 3 (Cisarua) with the remaining culvert and sidewalk box works, segment 4 (segment 4 (segment 4) Gunung Mas) is still being excavated for road widening.
The handling of the Bogor Puncak road section is also carried out through the preservation work of Ciawi - Benda - Cianjur City Boundary with a 2019 budget of Rp 30.5 billion. The scope of work includes routine road maintenance along the 37.84 km, road reconstruction along the 1.38 km, handling landslides along 80 meters, construction of drainage and auxiliary buildings along the 1.6 km, routine maintenance of the bridge 295 meters, and rehabilitation of bridges (46 meters ).
The work was carried out by the contractor PT Lumbung Pinayung Risqi with an implementation period of 313 calendar days from the contract on February 21, 2019 and until the end of June the physical progress reached 20% with the completion of the end being completed in 2019.
In 2018, the Ministry of PUPR has completed the construction of a 52-meter long Gadog Bridge in the Ciawi District. The bridge has functioned to increase the capacity of the road and reduce the burden of the old bridge traffic that remains in use.
With the new bridge 9 meters wide, it will increase the overall width of the bridge to 16 meters, thereby reducing the congestion that often occurs around the center of the souvenirs before the bridge bend from the direction of Ciawi to before the Selarong Ramp. The construction was carried out by PT Bumi Duta Persada with a contract value of Rp 12.63 billion. (*)
