Director General (Dirjen) of Bina Marga, Arie Setiadi together with the Head of the Jakarta National Road Implementation Center VI Atyanto Busono and Head of the Toll Road Work Unit (Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan) Cisumdawu Wida Nurfaida reviewed the progress of the cisumdawu toll road on March 11 (11/3) ).

During the work visit, Arie saw first hand the physical progress of the Cisumdawu Toll Road. Progress of Cisumdawu Phase 1 is 88% and Phase 2 is 4.2% "said wida.

During the visit, Wida as Head of the Work Unit explained that the Phase 1 Target Schedule beginning in August 2017 must be completed, while for phase 2 there are accelerating steps. The most crucial obstacle in the construction of the toll road is the issue of land acquisition. Phase 1 land acquisition which is 4% is not waqf land and has been anticipated and the design has been adjusted in the field and is no longer dependent on waqf land. The phase 2 is 79-80%. For phase 3, section 1 is in the process of proposing a shortlist to the Chinese government, "said Wida

Arie explained that land was crucial because the requirements had to be 60% before signing. We continue the process and the signing remains at 60%. But don't wait for 60% of the new loan process to be taken care of "said Arie.

I ask Mrs. Wida (kasatker) and friends "for phase 3 section one to be finished in two years, so that 2019 can function as a whole. Regarding our Chinese friends, we must work hard so they follow our work patterns. We ask the satker friends in dealing with Eid can be used partially although not perfect. By using the district road or provincial road into the cisumdawu toll road then exit again, to reduce congestion in the prince's rock. The conditions in the open were only temporary during Eid.

Another crucial point is to build a tunnel on the toll road and this is the first time to build a clan. The first is usually the most difficult "Innitial movement," Arie said

The Cisumdawu Toll Road Development is planned to be built to connect the existing Cikampek-Purwakarta-Padalarang-Cileunyi toll road with the Cikampek-Palimanan Toll Road and Palimanan-Kanci Toll Road which is part of the Trans Java Toll Road. The Cisumdawu Toll Road is a national strategic project that aims to improve the economy of the West Java province. Then increase the accessibility and capacity of the road network that connects areas in the city of Bandung with areas around the city of Cirebon and supports economic development with the planned development of the West Java International Airport (BIJB).

The Cisumdawu Toll Road is also expected to increase productivity in the areas around the Cisumdawu Toll Road, as well as increase regional and international market access. The Cisumdawu Toll Road is also designed for daily traffic above 20,000 vehicles and can save travel time, which usually takes 5-6 hours to two hours (KompuBM)
