Pansela Central Java DIY Handled 247.17 Km

KEBUMEN (BINA MARGA) - Work on the South Coast Road (Pansela) of Java Island continues to be carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Highways. Pansela Jawa has a length of 1,405 km, stretching from the provinces of Banten, West Java, Central Java, the Special Region of Yogyakarta to East Java.
Central Java has a 212 km Pansela path and 116 km Yogyakarta, with a total of 328 km. Until 2018 a total of 219 km of roads have been completed, each stretching 151 km in Central Java and 68 km in Yogyakarta.
"In 2019, Pansela Road in Central Java and Yogyakarta will be handled along 28 km," explained Minister Basuki while reviewing Pansela Road in Kebumen, Friday (05/04).
On the same occasion, Director General of Highways, Sugiyartanto said the 28 km handling consisted of two work packages in Central Java and three packages in Yogyakarta.
In Central Java, the 6.50 km Tambakrejo-Bantarsari toll road realignment package worth Rp. 95.4 billion and Jladri -Karangbolong -Tambakmulyo 4.50 km worth Rp. 53.9 billion. Both are done with 2019-2020 multi-year contracts.
Whereas in Yogyakarta, the 10.60 km Jerukwudel-Baron-Duwet toll road segment has a contract value of Rp. 195 billion (2019-2021); Legundi-Planjan for 4.70 km with multiple contracts valued at Rp. 69 billion (2019-2020); and the Kretek 2 Bridge with a handling length of 2,014 meters. The costs required are Rp.574 billion until 2021.
Sugiyartanto explained that the financing of the five work packages uses foreign loans from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). "Hopefully, if this IDB has been contracted, hopefully by the end of 2020, everything will be finished," he said.
Even so, according to available data, about 80 km of Pansela Central Java & DIY roads have not been handled, namely in BTS. West Java Province - Patimuan -Tambakreja (4 km), Slarang - Ayah / Bodo (33.04 km), Ayah / Bodo-Jladri (14.03 km) in Central Java. In DIY Pandasimo - Samas (1.7 km), Kretek-Girijati (5.3 km), Planjan-Baron-Tepus (5.88 km), Tepus-Jeruk Wudhel (17.8 km)
DG BM hopes that if the Pansela Central Java and DIY road works packages are completed it can improve speed, safety and comfort for road users. "Over time the traffic will automatically be distributed if from the east it can pass south, if from the west it can pass existing national roads," he explained.
Head of the National Center for Implementation of National Roads (BBPJN) VII Akhmad Cahyadi said the estimated total budget needed to complete Pansela Road in the two provinces was around Rp 1.9 trillion with allocations of Rp 1.1 trillion and Rp 885 respectively for Central Java. billion for Yogyakarta.
