31.3 Km of the Paspro Toll Road was inaugurated by President Jokowi

The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo accompanied by First Lady Iriana inaugurated the Trans Java toll road of the Pasuruan - Probolinggo toll road, on Wednesday (10/4) at the East Probolinggo toll gate, Probolinggo Regency, East Java Province.
Accompanying the President included a number of Working Cabinet Ministers, namely the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno. Also present was the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Head of the Danang Parikesit Toll Road Regulatory Agency, and Head of the Surabaya National Road Implementation Agency VIII Ketut Darmawahana.
"Therefore, by saying Bismillahirrahmanirrahim segments I, II and III of Pasuruan - Probolinggo, Probolinggo - Pasuruan this morning I declare that they have been officially opened," Jokowi said.
This Pasuruan - Probolinggo Section has been inaugurated section I, II, and III by Joko Widodo and will be freed within the next 1-2 weeks, where 31.3km from the total 45km is ready to be operated and for section IV is 13.7 not yet ready to operate due to the process of changing the business plan, this toll road has 4 interchanges namely Tongas, West Probolinggo, East Probolinggo, and Gending.
"Sections I, II, and III along 31.3 Km reduce 50-60% density of the Pasuruan Probolinggo national road, we need an additional 13.7km to continue section IV from East Probolinggo to Gending, this will greatly help the Bromo, Tengger and Semeru which belongs to the National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN) ". said Khofifah
The toll road is part of an infrastructure development project on the island of Java, the Pasuruan - Probolinggo toll road is included in the Trans Java toll road project that runs from Merak to Banyuwangi along 1148Km.
"We expect that through this toll road, there will be mobility of goods, mobility of people, faster logistics mobility, and we also expect small industrial estates, micro industries in the regions to develop rapidly in logistics access to goods, access to products this is easier, cheaper and more efficient and also access to tourism sites will also be easier.
