Abstract
Maksud dari pembuatan perencanaan campuran perkerasan jalan adalah untuk mendapatkan nilai ekonomis didalam campuran, terutama didalam pemakaian ukuran butiran dari agregat dan penggunaan bahan pengikat. Tujuan dari pembuatan percobaan campuran antara lain sebagai berikut: cukup kadar bahan pengikat guna mendapatkan keawetan dari perkerasan, cukup stabilitas campuran untuk memenuhi tuntutan dari kenaikan lalu - lintas tanpa menimbulkan kerusakan terhadap perkerasan, cukup rongga udara didalam campuran yang dipadatkan untuk mengijinkan penambahan beban dari lalu - lintas terhadap perkerasanma tanpa terjadi alur, deforasi.
