Abstract
Tanah dasar adalah bagian bawah lapisan perkerasan yang akan menerima beban sampai batas-batas yang masih mampu dipikulnya. Sifat-sifat fisik dan daya dukung serta modulus reaksi tanahh dasar adalah faktor penting dalam menentukan dan mempersiapkan pemadatan tanah dasar dilapangan. Parameter dan daya dukung tanah dasar dapat diperbaiki dengan cara stabilisasi atau penggantian material. Pemilihan alat dan cara pemadatan di lapangan akan ikut menentukan kestabilan tanah dasar.
