Korelasi pengujian pelapukan aspal stimulasi di laboratorium dengan alat thin film oven test dan rolling thin film oven test

Abstract
Untuk menentukan tingkat pelapukan aspal selama pemanasan dan pencampuran di Unit Pencampur dapat dilakukan di laboratorium dengan cara simulasi yang dikenal dengan Thin Film Oven Test ( TFOT ). Dengan berkenzbangnya teknologi dilakukan dengan alat Rolling Thin Film Oven ( RTFO) , yang diyakini lebih mendekati kenyataan pelapukan aspal setelah keluar dari Unit pencampur aspal dilapangan, Namun tidak semua laboratorium aspal di Indonesia tersedia alat tersebut, sehingga dilakukan penelitihan untuk menentukan korelasi pelapukan aspal menggunakan alat TFOT dan RTFOT. Korelasi ini dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi pelapukan aspal di Unit Pencampur aspal . Dari hasil penelitihan diperoleh hubungan antara penetrasi aspal setelah mengalami pelapukan dengan alat TFOT dan penetrasi atau titik lembek setelah mengalami pelapukan dengan alat RTFO , dinyatakan dengan persamaan sebagai berikut :
