Abstract
Pengaruh lingkungan atmosferis dan tanah terhadap laju korosi seng telah diteliti dengan metoda kehilangan berat. Beberapa tempat di Jawa Barat dan Jakarta telah dipilih untuk lokasi penelitian yang dapat mewakili lingkungan atmosferis dan tanah. Dari hasil penelitian, ternyata bahwa laju korosi seng akibat pengarus SO2 di lingkungan gunung berapi adalah yang tertinggi dan laju korosi terendah berasal dari lingkungan tanaha clay.
