Non-destructive testing of suspender ropes with magnetostriction

Wire test results for three suspension bridge cables
The evaluation of the cables on a recently inspected suspension bridge provided an opportunity to rigorously test 80 wires removed from the cable. Full length stress-strain for the samples were developed.
