A simple and straightforward procedttre for backcalculation Of AC/ PC'C pavement laver moduli is described. The approach is built on available closed-tonn solutions to hackcalculation for hare PCC pavement, with adjustments made to measured deflections to account ton- the influence of the AC: layer . An example using deflection data collected on an AC-overlaid I'CC Interstate hi-hwav section indicates that the backcalculation procedure produces reasonable results that are consistent with those obtained from other hackcalculation methods and with the known condition of the pavement.
