Kajian Nilai Ekivalensi Mobil Penumpang Berdasarkan Data Waktu Antara Pada Ruas Jalan Tol

Equivalence value is conversion factor used to convert mixed traffic flow becomes a homogeneous traffic flow. The value of passenger car equivalent (pce) values is needed to be evaluated as behaviour and traffic. Characteristic changes over time. The porpose of this study is to determine the passenger carequivalence value at toll road, where the study was conducted on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. The analysis results the pce tends to be higher than the pce from MKJI 1997. The value of pce for medium heavy vehicle ranges from 1.88 up to 2.25, for large truck ranges from 3.12 up to 3.77, and for large bus ranges from 1.2 up to 1.64. The possible reasons for the increase of the value are the increasing number of vehicles. The changing of vehicle capasity and performance, as well as road geometric. The results are then applied to calculate road capacity and variation of capacity value. i.e. ranges from 1800 up to 2500 pcu/hour, when it is compared with MKJI 1997.
