The book focuses on mechanistic empirical design procedures, this volume presents a comprehensive esploration of the structural analysis and design of highway pavements. The book is accomapanied by a CD containing two computer programs for pavement analysis and design. The Kenlayer program for flexible pavements can be applied to multilayered system under stationary or moving multiple wheel loads which each layer being linear elastic, nonlinear elastic or viscoelastic. The Kenslab program for rigid pavements can be applied to multiple slabs fully or partially supported on a liquid, solid or layered foundation with moment or shear transfer across joints.
