 <note>Ladder sleepers have attracted the attentions in last ten years in some developed countries.. if consists of two parallel reinforced concrete beams that are also parallel to rails. In this research a comprehensive analysis is carried out on the behavior of Ladder sleepers using 3D Non Linear Finite Element Analysis. In this regards, a parametric and sensitive study is conducted in order to analyze the effect of variations of; loads, subgrade properties, ballast properties and rail types, on Ladder sleeper behavior. The analysis results indicated that in the case of using Ladder sleeper, the vertical stresses and deflections of track can be reduced significantly in compare to conventional crossties. So that this type of ties has worth of being studied as a competitive alternative to conventional crossties. In addition to the above, some other interesting results were achieved tha would be presented in detail.</note>
