These courses attempt to improve their knowledge with the object of making them better drivers. Normally such courses consist of several lectures and a demonstration drive. Those students who participated in the study were given theoretical and practical (road) tests before and after they attended a course of police lectures and cources run by 10 different Police Forces were included in the study.
